I am interested in how people interact with their environments and how better design can improve that relationship.
Jesse James Arnold's education and professional history has included fine art, industrial design, graphic design and web programming. For the past five years, he has worked as a Principal Designer at Brave Space Design, a sustainable furniture company. His work there has earned international press and was awarded "Best of Year" by Interior Design Magazine 2006.
In addition to his work at Brave Space, he has worked on consistently challenging web-based projects. Notably was his role as Chief Web Designer to artist/engineer Natalie Jeremijenko and her studio, xdesign projects. Through his work at xdesign, he was awarded the Yale Fellowship at Yale University in the fall of 2003.
Jesse has an degree in Graphic Design, a BFA in Photography from the University of Florida and an MFA in Visual Art from the University of California, San Diego. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
